EDM Electrodes Tungsten Copper Alloy Electrodes Diameter 1.0mm to 30mm W80Cu20
Because tungsten copper alloy has heat resistance and wear resistance of tungsten and high conductivity of copper, this composite material has high hardness, high softening temperature, good conductivity, easy processing and other excellent characteristics. Tungsten copper has several major series: "E" series for EDM electrode; " R" series for resistance welding electrode; "W" series for weight; "G" series for electric contact head and contact spot.
The high physical and mechanical properties, as well as the thermal and electrical conductivity, of refractory metal composites make tungsten copper alloy very suitable for die inserts and electrode facings, flash and butt welding dies, and hot upsetting. They can also solve heat balance problems.
Applicatioins of Tungsten Copper Alloy Electrodes:
For the spark erosion of dies or cemented carbide making for high speed steel and switches and contacts in high and low voltage electrical devices.
Special shape products are produced as per customer's drawing.
Arcing contacts and vaccum contacts in high and medium voltage breakers or vaccum interruptors
Electrodes in electric spark erosion cutting machines
Heat sinks as passive cooling elements of electronic devices
